White Lisbon is a fast growing variety of bunching onion with a mild flavor. This variety of onion will not form a bulb. At maturity, they can grow to be a foot tall with white stalks and green leaves. These onions can be harvested and used at any stage of growth from green shoots to mature white lower stalks. The mature stalks are often called scallions and have a stronger flavor.

Sow seeds in the garden after the last frost. Cover with 1/4" of soil and space 1" apart. Thin to 3" apart when seedlings are 1-2" high. Seeds will germinate in 7-14 days.
