Crassula arborescens ssp. undulatifolia goes by the common names wavy jade and ripple jade. In its natural habitat in South Africa, it can grow to about 6.6 ft (2m) tall while keeping its shrubby stature. In cultivation, they tend to stay much smaller, often limited by the size of the pot. Their blue-green leaves can be tipped in orange or red when exposed to strong lighting.
Jades contain insoluble calcium oxalates, making them not pet safe. These crystals can cause GI irritation. Reptiles, on the other hand, can tolerate these crystals and jades are safe to include in arid reptile enclosures like those for uromastyx, leopard geckos, and bearded dragons!
Plants will ship bare root and are suitable for a 4 inch pot
