This variety of tomatillo ripens earlier than others. Tomatillos begin tart when young, becoming sweeter as they age and ripen. The fruits themselves are large and will weigh 2-4 oz when ripe. These are determinate plants, only growing to be about 2' tall. Harvest fruits when the papery skin splits and the fruit changes from a yellowish green to a medium green.
30 organic seeds per packet.
Sow seeds indoors 2-3 weeks before the last frost. Cover seeds with 1/4" of soil. Harden the seedlings off (get them used to their new environment) before transplanting them 2' apart in full sun.
