Philodendron hederaceum, or the trailing philodendrons, are as classic as classic gets! Their heart shaped leaves give a warm and welcoming energy. While commonly grown as a trailing plant, they prefer to climb and will produce even larger leaves if given the chance. Gently securing your plant to a moss pole and occasionally watering the pole will encourage roots to grow, securing itself. For more detailed care information, click here.
Like other plants in the aroid family, these plants are unfortunately not pet safe. They can cause mouth irritation and GI upset if ingested. If included in a terrarium or bioactive enclosure, tropical animals will use them to climb and hide.
Plants will ship bare root, are suitable for 4 inch pots and may vary slightly from photos, depending on available stock.
