Air plants are a classic plant for those who dislike dirt! Fast becoming a fantastic addition to any modern home, these live plants are low maintenance and easily kept alive in a terrarium. Misting every few days is suggested, as well as a weekly soak for about an hour. When soaking is done, shake out any excess water and allow to dry upside down for about 4 hours. For more detailed information, visit the blog post entitled "Air Plants- Tillandsia." An information card will also be sent with your order.
Tillandsia streptophylla is native to drier parts of Central America and Mexico. Similar to Tillandsia xerographica, this plant can tolerate a missed watering and requires less water than other air plants, making it an excellent beginner plant! Please note the bottom of this air plant is naturally brown and does not indicate poor plant health.
