An excellent beginner air plant! Tillandsia caput-medusae is so named for Medusa's head of snakes for the way the leaves twist and curl around the plant. Air plants are pet safe, so no worries here! I will often warn cat owners that many air plants are also cat toy shaped! They make perfect additions to topical reptile and amphibian enclosures. They are best secured with fishing line for easy removal should the plants need additional care or to be moved around the enclosure to assist with enrichment.
