String of Tears is often mistaken as String of Pearls but they are two separate species! The care for both is the same, place this plant in an area where it will receive bright light and water when bone dry.
String of Tears does contain some toxic compounds, if ingested by our furry friends. Some may elect to put string of pearls in with their arid reptiles, like leopard geckos, to create a bit of groundcover.
