This is quite an unusual snake plant! The leaves grow from the very center of the plant, and will fan out sideways, giving it the appearance of a starfish. Previously classified as Sansevieria cylindrica 'Starfish,' this plant now bears the name Dracaena angolensis 'Starfish.' It was reclassified with many other Sansevieria species, though the care for snake plants remains the same, despite the name change. Care for snake plants can be found here.
Snake plants contain saponins, which can cause GI upset in our furry friends. However, they make great additions to arid reptile enclosures! This species of snake plant grows slowly and will remain sizable for most reptile enclosures.
Plants will ship bare root and are suitable for a 4 inch pot. Photos are representative and some natural variation should be expected.
