Maranta are some of the most iconic prayer plants. They're wonderful beginner plants and they are hiding a secret- they move! During the day, their leaves will be "down" absorbing the rays of the sun. At night, their leaves move to a vertical position, as if they are folding their hands in prayer! Prayer plants are pet safe, so no worries here! They thrive in tropical enclosures for reptiles or amphibians. Some prefer them for their nocturnal animals because of the safe feeling they provide while they sleep, then the space they have for late night zoomies!
Plants will be shipped bare root and are suitable for a 4 inch pot. Photos are representative and some natural variation should be expected.
