Nepenthes 'Miranda' is a cross between (N. maxima x northiana) maxima. The mature pitchers of this cross can be over 18" long, but their speckled pitchers are quite the showstopper at any size! These plants can be grown indoors all year round, or be grown outdoors in the warm months. This variety is heat tolerant and catches a wide variety of insects. Almost anything that can fit in the pitcher is fair game! Nepenthes care instructions can be found here and will be sent with the plant upon purchase.
Nepenthes, like the other carnivorous plants are pet safe. They can be included in bioactive enclosures, as well, but they will need an isolated soil or moss section to grow in, as their roots are sensitive and require distilled water and low nutrient content substrate.
Plants will be shipped bare root and are suitable for an 8 inch pot. These are very large, nearly mature plants. Carnivorous plants cannot live in typical potting soils, as they often contain fertilizers. Carnivorous plant soil can be found here.
