Did you know that you can successfully start seeds in winter? Native seeds are especially good for this, as many of them require a period of cold, known as stratification, in order to germinate successfully.
This class will teach you all you need to know in order to start your winter sowing projects for this year, next year, and beyond! You will have your pick of plants native to our area and will leave the day with 2 to 3 winter sowing projects to bring home and nurture on your own, as well as plenty of take home information for you to prepare your winter sowing for following years.
Class will be March 7th at Woolly Bear Books and Gifts located at 31 East Main Street, Carnegie PA 15106 from 6pm-7pm
