Lucky bamboo isn't actually bamboo! This is a variety of Dracaena, also called corn plant or dragon tree. Care for Dracaena can be found here. This plant features braided stems and a decorative pot.
Members of the Dracaena genus contain saponins, which can cause GI upset and other symptoms when ingested in large amounts by our furry friends. For reptiles and amphibians, this is not a worry. Most will not try to eat this plant, and are more often going to use them as climbing surfaces. They are great additions to gecko and frog enclosures alike.
