Homalomena 'Camouflage' is a truly breath-taking plant. Not many of them have stunning foliage that lives up to their common or cultivar names! The leaves truly appear as if they have a camo pattern to them. They are an easy care plant, but slow growing. Place your Homalomena in an area where it will receive moderate to bright indoor light. If you wanted to move your plant outside for the warmer months, keep it in dappled sun or shady conditions. Water when the soil is around 50-75% dry. The leaves will wilt dramatically if too dry.
Members of the Homalomena genus are toxic to our furry friends, causing mouth numbness and in large amounts, mouth swelling. It is best to keep them away from children and pets for this reason. Reptiles and amphibians love them! These plants will thrive in humid tropical enclosures.
Plants will be shipped bare root and are suitable for a 4 inch pot. Photos are representative and some natural variation should be expected.
