This species of cactus is endemic to Mexico and can be found growing wild in Veracruz, Puebla, and Oaxaca. The unique color of this cactus lends to its common name. The stems are a blue-green grey, with small, brown spines. Just like other cacti, the grey ghost organ pipe does best when placed where it will receive bright light and water only when the soil is completely dry.
There is insufficient information to determine the toxicity of the Stenocereus genus. Because of this, it is best to keep the plant out of reach of pets. The spines make this cactus unsafe for reptile enclosures.
Photos are representative and some natural variation should be expected. Plants will ship bare root and are suitable for a 4 inch pot.
