Leopard lily, dumb cane, or Dieffenbachia are all names for this beautifully diverse group of plants! Dieffenbacia 'Honeydew' has contrasting leaves with a white or off-white center surrounded by a rich, deep green. These plants do well in areas with moderate to bright light and water when the soil is 50-75% dry.
The name dumb cane comes from the effect the leaves have on the mouth when ingested; it becomes numb and difficult to speak. This makes them not pet safe. This plant will thrive safely in tropical reptile enclosures. Geckos especially love them for their dense growth- lots of places to hide!
Photos are representative and some natural variation should be expected. Plants will ship bare root and are suitable for a 4 inch pot.
