Crispy wave ferns look like they've been frozen in motion. Their wavy leaves almost resemble seaweed waving in the ocean currents. They retain this quality as they grow. Asplenium nidus 'Crispy Wave' is a cultivar of birds nest ferns who get their names from their growth pattern. In the center of the rosette, there is a brown nest-like structure. This is a fantastic beginner fern. Place your fern in an area where it will get low to bright light, and water when it is about halfway dry.
Ferns are pet safe, so no worries for our furry friends here! Ferns thrive in tropical enclosures. Crispy wave ferns are stiff. Their leaves are able to hold sub adult and juvenile geckos, and as they grow, larger, adult geckos and frogs.
Plants will be shipped bare root and are suitable for a 4 inch pot. Photos are representative and some variation should be expected.
