Billbergia is a genus within the Bromeliad family with a unique growth habit. Members of this genus hold their leaves tightly together and upright, giving these plants the appearance of a narrow vase. The speckles on their leaves almost seem to glow like stars in the right light!
Members of the bromeliad family, Bromeliaceae, are pet safe- so no worries for our furry friends! While most bromeliads and their relatives are great additions to tropical enclosures, this variety has spines that make them unsafe to be included in reptile or amphibian enclosures.
Plants will be shipped bare root and are suitable for a 4 inch pot. Photos are representative, some variation is to be expected.
