African violets are some of the most prolifically blooming plants out there! They have the ability to bloom nearly nonstop all year long. These stout flowers are native to Tanzania, where they grow in shaded crevices and mossy cliffs. They prefer to have their soil kept evenly moist, with no water allowed to remain on the leaves. African violets are pet safe, so no worries here! They can also make fantastic additions to reptile enclosures! Just make sure they will not have water spilled on them or are in a heavily misted area.
