Typical Venus flytraps are ones that have not been bred by humans to look a certain way or to amplify a trait or mutation. These are the ones most similar to what you will see in the wild! There is only one species of Venus flytrap in the world, Dionaea muscipula. They are endemic to a 72 acre area between the Carolinas in the United States.
