You can grow fresh cinnamon right in your house! Cinnamon trees are hardy from zones 9-11, so here in Pittsburgh, they need to be kept inside. These trees behave much like other tropical trees when kept indoors. Place your cinnamon where it will receive bright light and keep it evenly moist, watering when the soil is between 50-75% dry.
Cinnamon has some volatile compounds in the leaves that may be irritating to pets. It is best to keep them out of their reach.
Plants will be shipped bare root and are suitable for a 6 inch pot. Photos are representative and some natural variation should be expected.
