String of hearts is an easy to care for tropical-looking succulent. Place this plant in bright light and water when bone dry. It is native to Zimbabwe and the leaves are truly hearts! When the trailing vines get long, you may notice round, potato-looking growths. These are tubers that the plant stores water in!
String of hearts is in the dogbane family, and thus, is not pet safe. Should you want to include this plant in a reptile enclosure, they would thrive in arid environments or mounted where they can trail and dry out in tropical enclosures.
