This blend is intended for full to part sun in a wide variety of soil conditions and moisture levels. Some of the species contained in this blend are native grasses, which serve a very important role in our ecosystems and support a variety of wildlife, including pollinators, birds, and small mammals. This blend is best spread in more wild areas, such as fields and roadsides to provide more habitat and food to our native wildlife!

Some of the volume contained in these shakers is a substance called vermiculite. Typically, it is included in potting soils to improve drainage, but in this case its purpose is to ensure the proper dispersal rate of the seeds and to ensure the seeds do not become too crowded.
