While not Spanish or moss, Tillandsia usneoides is native to the southeastern portion of the USA from Texas to the Carolinas. It hangs from the trees in humid, more tropical areas of the region. This is one of the few air plants you can safely submerge entirely while soaking, as it does not have an area that water will pool and cause rot. Spanish moss is also a more water-loving air plant than others and benefits from frequent misting and soaking at once or twice per month. More information on air plant care can be found here and care information will be sent with your order. This is a live plant, not dried moss for craft purposes.
