Monstera 'Mint' is a newer cultivar of monstera. It gains the name mint from its minty green variegation, caused by only some of the layers of chlorophyll being mutated out of cells instead of all layers, which cause white. Because they have more chlorophyll than their albo and Thai Constellation relatives, mint monsteras will grow faster and be more tolerant of bright light and less susceptible to burning. Often, new leaves on Mint monsteras will come in very pale, hardening off into greens as they age. For detailed care information, click here

Monstera spp., like other plants in the Araceae family, contain insoluble calcium oxalates, which can cause oral and GI irritation, as well as other symptoms. Because of this, they are not considered pet safe when it comes to our furry friends. If you were thinking of including it in a tropical enclosure, don't let that stop you! Even if your reptile takes a chomp out of the vine, they have different tolerances than our furry friends. Treat this like a pothos, where it can be allowed to climb or trail within the enclosure.

Plants will be shipped bare root and are suitable for a 4 inch pot. Photos are representative and some variation should be expected.
