Kalanchoe, pronounced kah-lan-KO-ee or kah-lan-CHO is a widely varied genus. Kalanchoe blossfeldiana is often grown for its impressive floral display among succulents. Just like other succulents, be sure your Kalanchoe gets plenty of light and water only when the soil is completely dry.
Kalanchoe are not pet safe when it comes to our furry friends. Reptiles, on the other hand, are perfectly tolerant of the plant's defenses. They make perfect additions to arid enclosures, like those for bearded dragons, leopard geckos, or uromastyx.
