Stromanthe are members of the prayer plant family, Marantaceae. As part of this family, they move their leaves! During the day, their leaves are down, almost horizontal. At night, they fold upwards, showing off the vibrant pink underneath!
Everything in Marantaceae is pet safe, so no worries here! They fit perfectly into a tropical reptile or amphibian enclosure. For nocturnal animals, they provide safe spaces to sleep and get out of the way for the late night zoomies!
Plants will be shipped bare root and are suitable for an 8 inch pot. Photos are representative and some natural variation should be expected.
