This unique agave has smooth, cylindrical leaves that end in sharp points, so be careful when handling! This species is endemic to two Mexican states, Nayarit and Jalisco, meaning it is not found naturally anywhere else! They can have 100-200 leaves at any given time.
Agave are not pet safe, so it is best to keep this plant out of reach of curious kids and pets! The sharp ends on the leaves make it unsafe to include in reptile enclosures.
