Air plants are a classic plant for those who dislike dirt! Fast becoming a fantastic addition to any modern home, these live plants are low maintenance and easily kept alive in a terrarium. Misting every few days is suggested, as well as a weekly soak for about an hour. When soaking is done, shake out any excess water and allow to dry upside down for about 4 hours. For more detailed information, visit the blog post entitled "Air Plants- Tillandsia." An information card will also be sent with your order.
Tillandsia butzii requires more water than other air plants, so you may find it benefits from an additional misting here and there. The entire leaf is adorned with interesting speckles that, from a distance, may appear to be stripes. The brown base is natural for this plant and does not indicate poor health.
